Boston Dynamics is an American engineering and robotics design company founded in 1992 as a spin-off from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In December last year, the company released a video that resonated around the world. The video sees Boston Dynamics' entire lineup of robots - the humanoid Atlas, the dog-shaped Spot, and the box-juggling Handle - all come together in a bopping, coordinate dance routine set to The Contours' ''Do You Love Me''. Everything almost looks like a CGI creation.
The video shows incredible capabilities of today's technology by taking things to another level with robots smoothly running, jumping, shuffling, and twirling through different moves. Moreover, these machines are able to open doors, wash dishes and even get an actual job. Atlas - the world's most dynamic humanoid robot is a research platform designed to push the limits of whole-body mobility. These shows that technology keeps racing forward at an unimaginable speed. In the future machines may take over many jobs e.g. perform operations, teach or do most physical labor as some do today. Although artificial intelligence is still developing, robots are yet not able to think for themselves, which is the main difference between them and humans.

AI is a fascinating topic and we need to look into it a bit deeper soon in class.
